HIGH CARD

Description

High Card is one of the ten possible Poker-Hands.

Example If there is no Player with a better Poker-Hand, so the Player, holding the best High Card, wins the pot.

Additional Rules

• Do more Players hold a High Card of the same Rank, so the Player, holding the higher Kicker, wins the Pot.
• Do more Players hold Kickers of the same rank, so there will be a Splitpot.

Example A little Example from Texas Hold'em Poker: Player 1 Flop Turn River Player 2 In the illustrated Example, the two Players finally hold the following Poker-Hands.

Poker-Hand of Player 1 High Card Ace, King Kicker

Poker-Hand of Player 2 High Card Ass, Queen Kicker

In the illustrated Example both Players hold the Poker-Hand High Card Ace. In this case wins the Player with the higher Kicker

In this Example wins Player 1 with his King Kicker.
