Description
A Straight is one of the ten possible
Poker-Hands.
Example
A Straight is a Poker-Hand, built from 5 Cards, with an
incrementing Rank from one Card to another, where the Suit of the Cards is not
relevant.
|
Characteristics
- A special Characteristic of a Straight is about the
use of Aces. In case of a Straight, a Ace can be used as a Card with the
highest Rank (10-J-Q-K-A) or as a Card with the lowest Rank (A-2-3-4-5). An
Ace can only be used at the Begin or the End of a Straight.
- An order around the Corner (Q-K-A-2-3) is not allowed and
invalid.
Additional Rules
- Do more Players hold a Straight, so the Player, with
the highest End of the Straight, wins the Pot.
- Do more Players hold a Straight with the same highest End of the Straight,
so there will be a Splitpot.
